As expected, based on the published literature [25,37,38], CHIKV mono-infection resulted in significant increase of secreted IFN-β (3.08 fold, p = 0.004), IP-10 (2.09 fold, p<0.001) and MCP-1 (2.53 fold, p<0.001) as compared to mock-infection. Here, CXCL10 is linked to infection.
