ATP11A and colorectal cancer: TMEM30A structurally resembles the β-subunit of the P4-ATPase, which is abundant in our mass spectra (Fig 1), and is also responsible for the preservation of lipid gradients in mammalian tissues [24], thus ATP11A, a member of the P4-ATPase family, was selected since it has been reported to be a novel predictive marker for colorectal cancer prognosis [25].
