This showed that ABCG2 mRNA expressions in hyperuricemia rats decreased significantly to 33.85% and 42.62% in jejunum and ileum respectively, and ABCG2 protein expressions by western blotting in them decreased markedly to 67.08% and 74.32% (Figs. 2 and Fig. 4) in hyperuricemia rats. The gene discussed is ABCG2; the disease is hyperuricemia.
