One participant in the verum group had the diagnosis of a heterozygote Factor V Leiden mutation (without any thromboembolic events in the past), two had mild hypertension (one treated with beta-blocker and one with ACE-inhibitor), three participants reported different forms of pollen allergy, one a lactose intolerance and one an intolerance against hen’s egg ovalbumin. This evidence concerns the gene ACE and hypertensive disorder.
