Several proangiogenic factors associated with interstitial hypertension-associated lymph node metastasis were identified in BxPC-3 and Capan-2 tumors, and three of these factors were up-regulated in high IFP/highly metastatic tumors in both models: TGFB, ANG, and IGF1. Here, IGF1 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
