Importantly, the analysis of 10 gene expression datasets from patients with prostate cancer and their controls shows that the most enriched pathway coexpressed with the TRPM4 gene is the Wnt signaling pathway, supporting our in vitro results and sustaining a relationship between the expression of this channel and the activity of this signaling pathway in prostate cancer (Fig. S5).
