STAT3 and cancer: Kaempferol, chrysin, and luteolin have been reported to inhibit properties of cancer mediated by inhibition of phosphorylation of STAT3: Kaempferol induces differentiation in partially differentiated colon cancer cells [44], chrysin suppresses hypoxia-induced metastasis of 4T1 mouse breast cancer cells [45], and luteolin inhibits hypoxia-induced vascular endothelial factor expression [46].
