TP53 and gastric cancer: The functional enrichment analysis highlighted the importance of cycle-related pathways (i.e., cell cycle, P53 signaling, and DNA replication), viral carcinogenesis, HTLV-1 infection, and the progesterone-mediated oocyte maturation pathway in gastric cancer, while topological analysis identified nine candidate genes that modulated downstream genes and pathways and can therefore be considered as key regulators.
