Supporting information Figure S3 did not reveal detectable repertoires of T cells that react with any of the three peptides tested (BCKDk 71–90, BCKDk 111–130, and BCKDk 141–160), suggesting that the occurrence of myocarditis and/or hepatitis induced by BCKDk peptides does not involve the expansion of the preexisting peripheral repertoires of naive mice.
