Three peptides—BCKDk 111–130, BCKDk 71–90 and BCKDk 141–160—were found to induce myocarditis in a descending order (7/10, 5/10, and 2/10), and the number of inflammatory foci in the respective groups were 5.29 ± 2.67, 2.20 ± 0.97, and 7.50 ± 6.50 (Table 1).
