To this end, the antisense gene of human HOXA11 (i.e., HOXA11-AS) was demonstrated to be a biomarker for urothelial carcinoma36 which also correlates with tumor size and metastasis in colorectal cancer37, supporting that Hoxa11 may play some roles in the bladder and colon tissues.
