DRD3 and Alzheimer disease: The top enriched disease annotation was ‘cognition disorders’ (FDR [18] = 1.46E-2), assigned to AD-linked genes APOE, DRD2, DRD3 and CRH in the 128-gene list, and the top enriched pathway was G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) ligand binding (FDR [18] = 1.10E-19) implicated in AD pathology [42], suggesting utility of the assay for understanding disease process and for drug discovery.
