We extended this exploration to pre-adipocytes, CD31+ endothelial cells and mature adipocytes, focusing on a set of inflammation-related genes (CCL2, CCL20, IL-8, IL-6 and pro-IL-1β) selected among genes known to be up-regulated in adipose tissue with human obesity. This evidence concerns the gene CCL2 and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
