In summary, our data support the conclusion that excessive AKT/mTOR leads to the development and maintenance of HCM in NSML, and that ARQ 092, a potent, selective, and orally bioavailable AKT inhibitor, can reverse hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in SHP2Y279C/+ mice.
