Our results showed that, parallel with the increase of miR‐34c, the phosphorylation of c‐Jun, an important subunit of AP‐1, in the nuclei of SMCs was obviously greater in the colonic distention mice and patients with HD than that in their respective controls (P < 0.05 or 0.01; Fig. 4A and B).
