As shown in semiquantitative analyses, the positive area staining ratio of megalin and cubilin in pSS patients with Fanconi syndrome was significantly lower than that in the control GML group (Fig. 2D, E) (0.10 ± 0.01 vs 0.16 ± 0.02, p = 0.030; 0.05 ± 0.01 vs 0.11 ± 0.01, p = 0.004, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene LRP2 and Fanconi renotubular syndrome.
