To determine the optimal adenovirus multiplicity of infection (m.o.i.)for the overexpression of HuR without affecting the A375 proliferation rate, we first conducted a series of assays to verify that the m.o.i. used in our experiments (Fig. 1D) did not significantly affect the proliferation rate of the aH‐ or aG‐infected A375 cells (aH and aG cells) compared with the noninfected cells. This evidence concerns the gene ELAVL1 and infection.
