Using western blot analysis, we explored the influence of biphalin on the marker of microglial cell activation (Iba1), TLR4, and MOP receptors levels as well as immune factors (iNOS, IL-1β, IL-18, COX-2, IL-6, IL-10, IFNγ, TNFα, and TIMP-1) and related intracellular signaling pathways (NF-κB, IκB, STAT3, SOCS3, p38MAPK, and ERK1/2) that underlie the development of neuroinflammation during neuropathy. Here, IL1B is linked to neuropathy.
