We focused on these five genes as they had previously been shown in the literature to be epigenetically influenced in CLL [NFATC1 [11]], or in other malignancies [BIK [34], SPRY2 [35], TBX2 [36, 37], TSHZ3 [38, 39]]. The gene discussed is TBX2; the disease is B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
