AMLs are clonal diseases of hematopoietic progenitor cells, characterized by marked heterogeneity in terms of phenotypic, genotypic and clinical features.1, 2, 4, 39 In this study, we showed that Lin28A, an RNA-binding protein,12 was significantly underexpressed in AML samples without any association with genotypic and phenotypic stratification. This evidence concerns the gene LIN28A and acute myeloid leukemia.
