MIR155HG and breast neoplasm: Since the mature form of miR-155 is encoded by exon 3 of the non-coding RNA, MIR155HG [32], expression levels of miR-155 should be consistent with that of its host gene, MIR155HG. Expression of miR-155 was also higher in T1-3 breast tumors than in T4 breast tumors or metastatic breast tumors (Figure 1E).
