The studies by Bao et al. showed that hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-induced co-expression of miR-21, miR-210, and EZH2 promote aggressiveness of cancer prostate in vitro [46] and pancreatic cancer cells in vitro and in vivo [47] under the hypoxic condition. This evidence concerns the gene EZH2 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
