ACTH-pituitary adenomas were associated with an increased OR of postoperative hypokalemia compared with non-ACTH-pituitary adenomas (OR = 19.63; 95% CI [5.82–65.84], P < 0.001), whereas no statistically significant differences in incidence rates between postoperative hypokalemia and the remaining factors (Table 2) were evident.
