Of the 181 subjects included in the study, 66 (36.5%) had a nonfunctioning pituitary adenoma, 49 (27.1%) had PRL-pituitary adenomas, 28 (15.5%) had GH-pituitary adenomas, 16 (8.8%) had ACTH-pituitary adenomas, nine (5.0%) had FSH-pituitary adenomas, and five (2.8%) had TSH-pituitary adenomas; moreover, eight (4.4%) mixed pituitary adenomas were included.
