AKT1 and diabetes mellitus: Figure 1 B (analysis by one way ANOVA) showsthat six weeks treatment of diabetic (p<0.01) and diabetic castrated(p<0.001) groups with exercise significantly raised P-AKT protein levels inheart compared to diabetic and diabetic castrated groups, respectively. Two wayANOVA in figure 1C shows that combinationtherapy with testosterone and exercise in diabetic rats significantly(p<0.001) enhanced P-AKT protein levels in the heart tissue in comparisonwith diabetes group.
