ZEB2 is upregulated in GBM cells and suppression of ZEB2 inhibits invasion (Qi et al., 2012) and results in a blockade of resistance against vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which involves inhibition of a hypoxia‐inducible factor (HIF)1a‐ZEB2‐EphrinB2 MT pathway (Depner et al., 2016). This evidence concerns the gene ZEB2 and glioblastoma.
