In contrast, the levels of IL-10 and TGF-1β were significantly lower (P < 0.001) and the levels of IFNγ were significantly higher (62%, P < 0.001) in the skin tumors from GSPs fed, UVB-irradiated wild-type mice as compared with the levels of these cytokines in the skin tumors of UVB-irradiated wild-type mice that were not fed GSPs (left panels).
