As reported elsewhere,18 we found the phosphorylated CAV1 in the region of the mouse brain ipsilateral to the cerebral ischemia after middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) (Supplementary Figures S8b and c).31 As seen in H2O2 treatment, LC3-II conversion was enhanced in the damaged region compared to contralateral region of the mouse brain. The gene discussed is CAV1; the disease is Cerebral ischemia.
