JAK1 and neoplasm: For CRTC1 and BCL9, tumors with mutations had significantly higher MSI scores than the respective wild-type tumors (on average 4% more unstable microsatellites; P < 0.04 for both genes by Welch’s t-test); however, there was no significant difference in the MSI score between tumors mutated and wild type for PTCH1 or JAK1 (P > 0.3), indicating that these mutations are not associated with the level of tumor hypermutation.
