In accordance with our findings, lower expression levels of T cell metagenes (CD28, CD3G, CD8A, CD8B, FYB, ICOS, LCP2, LTA) and of different chemokines associated with CD8+ T cell recruitment (CCL2, CCL3, CCL4, CCL5, CXCL9 and CXCL10) were observed among breast tumors expressing higher levels of IL-1R8 (IL-1R8 high tumors, Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene CD3G and breast neoplasm.
