Flow cytometric analysis of propidium iodide (PI)-stained cells revealed that cells accumulated and arrested in G2 as evidenced by a significant increase in the fraction of cells in G2 in siKIF14-trasnfected DU145 and PC3 cells as compared to that in scramble control transfected cells (Figure 2D and Figure 2E), indicating that loss of KIF14 induces G2 arrest in PCa. The gene discussed is KIF14; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
