Pehlivan et al. [29] reported that cITP patients had a significantly higher frequency of the IFN-γ +874 TT genotype (high expression type) compared to healthy controls, while Chen et al. reported no significant association between IFN-γ +874 T/A polymorphism and infant ITP in Chinese patients [30].
