A statistically significant positive correlation of cytosolic BAG-1 immunostaining with Bcl-2 expression was found in 62 of 76 (82%) breast tumours coexpressing these proteins, suggesting that BAG-1 and Bcl-2 may be coregulated to some extent in early-stage invasive breast cancers (Turner et al, 2001). Here, BCL2 is linked to invasive breast carcinoma.
