FBXW7, which is regulated by miR-223, has been identified as a tumor suppressor gene in several cancers [21,35,41,42], and plays key roles in modulating the degradation of various onco-protein substrates, including c-Myc, cyclinE, Notch, c-Jun, mTOR, and MCL1 [43]. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and neoplasm.
