For comparison, other V-ATPase subunits, ATP6v1c2 or ATP6v0a3/TCIRG1, are only overexpressed or genomically amplified in 7% of breast cancers, respectively, and their overexpression or genomic amplification didn't significantly correspond with effects on patient survival (Supplementary Figure 4).
