Although miR-645 regulates gastric cancer cell proliferation and survival, and HNSCC cell invasion and metastasis through targeting IFIT2,30, 32 our results indicated that IFIT2 was unlikely to be targeted by miR-645 in CRC cells, as inhibition of miR-645 did not alter IFIT2 3′-UTR activity, nor did it impinge on the expression levels of endogenous IFIT2. This evidence concerns the gene IFIT2 and gastric cancer.
