By comparing tumours which cluster with the cell lines based on CNAs with tumours that cluster away from the cell lines, we found that the tumours likely to be best represented by the cell lines carry hallmarks of aggressive disease, such as higher stage, higher grade, greater extent of CNAs, and more frequent mutations in genes such as SETD2, BAP1 and MTOR, which have been associated with more aggressive disease and poorer outcomes. This evidence concerns the gene BAP1 and neoplasm.
