Notably, higher O-GlcNAcylation levels of YAP were detected in both liver cancer tissues and established cell lines (SMMC-7721, Bel-7404, Bel-7402, Huh7, HepG2 and SK-Hep1) compared to those in neighbouring normal liver tissues and hepatocyte lines HL-7702 and THLE-3 (Supplementary Fig. 8d). Here, YAP1 is linked to liver cancer.
