By multivariate analysis with Cox’s proportional hazard regression model, lymph node metastasis (HR: 2.731, 95% CI: 1.525–4.888), higher LNR (HR: 3.582, 95% CI: 2.048–6.265), and high Romo1 expression (HR: 2.133, 95% CI: 1.167–3.896) were significantly related to poorer DFS. This evidence concerns the gene ROMO1 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
