Iqgap2 belongs to a family of scaffolding proteins, which mediate Rho GTPase and Ca2+/calmodulin signaling in regulating multiple cellular processes, such as cell adhesion, motility, and exocytosis [81]; Iqgap2-null mice develop spontaneous hepatocellular carcinomas [82]. Here, IQGAP2 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
