In summary, the present observations show high NFκB expression along with its pro-survival signaling partner, XIAP, in the tumor emboli of IBC patient tumor tissue and efficacy of NFκB inhibitors like DSF-Cu in preventing formation of IBC tumor cell clusters/spheroid and emboli formation, considered a key feature of IBC progression and dissemination. Here, NFKB1 is linked to inflammatory breast carcinoma.
