Consistent with these results from breast cancer cell lines, the data from the Curtis breast cohort which contains the largest number of breast cancer cases in the database, demonstrated that the mRNA expression of OVOL2 significantly decreased with the progression of human breast cancer from grade 2 to grade 3 (Figure 2G), suggesting a strong association between OVOL2 expression and tumor progression. Here, OVOL2 is linked to breast carcinoma.
