In these 90 patients with cervical cancer, there were significant associations between Srx expression and lymph node metastasis (p < 0.05) or infiltration of the haemal tube (p < 0.05), but we did not find a correlation between Srx expression and age, tumor size, degree of histologic differentiation, clinical stage or depth of cancer invasion (p > 0.05) (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene SRXN1 and cervical cancer.
