Although Zhang et al. [18] reported that the PON1-192R allele was associated with a decreased risk of BC, one of the studies included in that meta-analysis mistakenly reported genotype frequencies of 17%, 29%, and 6% for the QQ, QR, and RR alleles of PON1 Q192R, respectively, in the control group; the correct values are 6%, 29%, and 17%, respectively [25].
