Of note, SOCS3 and SOCS1 expression observed in LS BCC and LS SCC was lower than that present in LS psoriatic skin, where it abundantly accumulates, in particular in the cytoplasmic compartment, as a consequence of the establishment of an inflammatory cytokine milieu by infiltrating immune cells (Figure 4A, score 3+).
