Immunohistochemical staining for CD34 (Figure 7C) revealed that the treatment with anti-DLL4 mAb strikingly increased vessel branching in both EV- and mJAG1-tumours (Figure 7D), suggesting a predominant role of DLL4 in the control of tumour angiogenesis and tumour growth in either EV-tumours or mJAG1-tumours.
