Interestingly, the CD46‐triggered nuclear translocation of IL2 transcriptional regulators ICER and CREM (necessary for the switch of Th1 cells into an IL‐10‐producing regulatory phenotype) 9 remains unaffected (data not shown) suggesting that only certain aspects of CD46 signals are altered in SLE T cells. This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
