RASSF1 and breast cancer: Elevated promoter methylation of RASSF-1α gene was also observed in American BC patients by Meng et al. (2012[5]) who found that 73 % (30/41) of the transitional cell carcinoma, 100 % (3/3) of the squamous cell carcinoma, and 100 % (4/4) of the small cell carcinoma had the promoter methylation.
