As the cGAS-TBK1-IRF3 signaling axis was deficient in HeLa.CNX, we established a HeLa.CNX cell line which was stably infected with KSHV (see Materials and methods) to study the canonical NF-κB modulation by truncated LANA and the MRN complex in the context of KSHV latent infection and in the absence of cGAS-induced IFN activation. This evidence concerns the gene TBK1 and disease arising from reactivation of latent virus.
