To verify whether increased JMJD3 affects CD11a expression in SLE CD4+ T cells, we further assessed the H3K27me3 enrichment and JMJD3 binding levels within the CD11a promoter of 15 SLE patients and 15 healthy controls using chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and real-time PCR. The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is systemic lupus erythematosus.
