However, SATB1 expression was significantly associated with advanced (stage III/IV) TNM stage (1756 patients; pooled OR: 1.81, 95% CI 1.24–2.65, p = 0.002), advanced (T3/T4) T stage (2227 patients; pooled OR: 1.64, 95% CI 1.17–2.29, p = 0.004), lymph node metastasis (2453 patients; pooled OR: 1.73, 95% CI 1.26–2.36, p = 0.0007) and distant metastasis (2042 patients; pooled OR: 1.56, 95% CI 1.00–2.45, p = 0.05) (Figure 7B–7E). This evidence concerns the gene SATB1 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
