IER5 and cervical carcinoma: Thus, our trial was designed to (i) explore expression of IER5 as a radiosensitive and prognostic marker of patients with cervical cancer undergoing radiotherapy, (ii) evaluate IER5 as a predictor in response to radiotherapy of cervical cancer, and (iii) preliminarily inquiry the role of IER5 in response of apoptotic cell death induced by irradiation in cervical cancer tissue.
